Although our personnel work hard, we seek to ensure that they live balanced lives with time for not only work but family, spiritual refreshment, professional development, relaxation, inspiration, and recreation.  Our care covers not only day to day but specific and crisis care needs.  Also, with personnel being our primary focus we are uniquely able to prioritize our personnel in times of crisis.

We operate through partnerships

To be a part of Interserve is to be part of an international network of Christians committed to the transformation of lives and communities through encounter with Jesus Christ.  We achieve this by partnering with fellow believers, churches and organisations.

We provide opportunity variability

Because Interserve is not linked to a specific “work” but partners with numerous seconding organisations, it offers its Partners the opportunity of changing from one ministry to another while maintaining consistency of the sending organisation i.e. Interserve.  This may be necessary in some cases for specific reasons e.g. to ensure longevity of service.

We are Wholistic or Integral in ministry

Interserve’s Partners have been carrying out wholistic mission for almost 160 years and organisationally we have developed a wealth of knowledge and experience in this area.  We are committed to integrating both serving people in material ways and personal evangelism.
